Chase Randall (12), a POWRi Lonestar 600's driver, was injured Saturday night, August 19 at Superbowl Speedway in Greenville, Texas during the micro 600 non-wing feature event. Randall collided with another car in an attempt to miss his fellow competitor on the backstretch of the track.
Official Statement from the Randall Family:
We are at Dallas Children's ICU. Chase had a strong hit to right side of his helmet. The CT scan didn't reveal any major bleeding. One small lesion of note. He still remains unconscious partially due to injury but mainly sedatives. We are currently monitoring internal brain pressures for swelling. He's in stable condition, and we are just in a wait and see pattern now. Thank you for everyone's messages and prayers.
