Indianapolis, IN - The POWRi Lucas Oil WAR East Sprints head to Lincoln Speedway in Lincoln, Illinois this Friday, August 18 for the first time in league history. The 1/4 mile dirt oval will provide the perfect stage for the WAR sprint regulars to display their side-by-side racing action.
Friday's event will pay $2,000 to win and $200 to start. Illinois native Korey Weyant currenly leads the POWRi Lucas Oil WAR East points over Terry Babb, Slater Helt, Steve Thomas, and Mario Clouser rounds out the top five.
Chris Windom has three WAR East wins so far in 2017 while Landon Simon and Korey Weyant each have two.
