West Siloam Springs, OK (July 28, 2017) - Sixteen drivers signed in for racing competition at Flint Creek Speedway as temps finally cooled off for a packed house. Track crews would water the top of the track before the heat races rolled out and provided for some amazing heat races that would be won by Ace McArthy, and Austin Lambert.
Ace McArthy would be awarded The nights Integrity Customs High Point Driver of the night, and with the help of Brooklyn, a fan chosen from the stands, the roll of the dice came up a five. McArthy would be inverted to starting 5th.
Kory Schudy and Matt Moore would bring the field to green for the nights HEM Saw 20 lap A-Feature. A series of red flags early would see Matt Moore getting upside down in turn one as well as Cannon MacIntosh flipping violently in turn one on the very next restart. Both drivers we okay.
Once back underway the pressure was on as Zane Hendricks, Kory Schudy, and Austin Lambert would put on a show for the top spot. As the race went on current point leader Grady Chandler would make his way to the front along with Ace McArthy.
As we closed in on a green white checker restart, Hendricks would lead Chandler and McArthy back to green. Getting into turn one Hendricks would have a two car lead, but Chandler would set up for one last attempt for a run at the lead. Last lap, last corner, side by side Chandler makes contact with Hendricks, but both drivers hold on as Hendricks would go onto win his first A-Feature. Chandler and McArthy would round out the top 3.
