West Haven, VT (July 23, 2017) - Rick Stone scored his first POWRi Lucas Oil Outlaw Midget win of the season Sunday night, July 23 at the Devil's Bowl Speedway in West Haven, Vermont. Alex Adamsky, Tyler Rivard, Jesse Pruchnik, and Nate Furman rounded out the top five.
At the drop of the green flag, Pruchnick took control of the field while Adamsky, Rivard and Chris Haskell fought for the second position. On lap 5, while Adamsky, Rivard and Haskell were fighting for second, Haskell slid high and ended up losing 2 spots.
The caution flag flew on lap 10 for Rivard who spun out in turn two. On the restart, Stone found speed and began battling Pruchnik for the lead. Stone took the lead on lap eleven. Stone began pulling away from the field after lap fifteen and would go on to win his first feature of the season.
The POWRi Lucas Oil Outlaw Midgets are back in action Sunday, August 6 at the Glen Ridge Motor Sports Park in Fultonville, New York.
