Belleville, IL – Friday, July 21st the POWRi Lucas Oil Division II Midget League will invade the Champaign County Fairgrounds in Champaign, Illinois for the Second Annual Champaign Fair race. Kicking off the opening night of the Champaign County Fair, the POWRi Lucas Oil Division II Midgets will race alongside the POWRi Lucas Oil WAR East Sprint Car League, with both divisions looking to deliver plenty of action.
The Champaign Fair race will pay $750 to WIN, $100 to start. Last year’s showing was the first time open wheel racing has taken to the Champaign County Fairgrounds in decades. With the Division II Midget League returning after last year’s thriller, the WAR East Sprint cars were added to the event for 2017.
