Belleville, IL – This Saturday, June 10th, the POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro League is set to invade the high banks of Southern Illinois Raceway in Marion, Illinois for the first of two visits in 2017. This weekend will be the final tune-up for micro drivers nationwide looking to tackle the high-banked 1/5th mile track before SIR’s annual Highbanks Hustle.
In 2016, Joe B. Miller dominated both the May 14th showing, wiring the field leading all 20 laps, and the July 9th show, navigating his way to the front after starting mid-pack. June 10th’s show is guaranteed to host the stars of the POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro League, the tough Southern Illinois Raceway regulars, and a handful of heavy hitters from across the nation.
