Las Cruces, NM (May 26-27, 2017) - Kyle McCutcheon swept the two-day weekend of racing with the POWRi Lucas Oil WAR 305 Sprint League at Southern New Mexico Speedway in Las Cruces, New Mexico on Friday, May 26 and Saturday, May 27. McCutcheon started third on Friday night after finishing third in the American Linen Uniform & Supply Dash for Cash earlier in the night, and he started eighth in the twenty-five lap A-Main on Saturday night. Both nights, he found himself in victory lane.
Don Grable, McCutcheon, CJ Hulsey, Cesar Fuentes, Wes Wofford, Royal Jones, Lorne Wofford, and Robert Herrera were heat race winners throughout the two-day weekend. W.Wofford earned the Hard Charger title Friday night after passing thirteen cars to finish second on the podium for the night. The following night Rick Ziehl scored the Hard Charger title after passing eight cars to finish third Saturday.
The POWRi Lucas Oil WAR 305 Sprint League is back on track Saturday, June 10 at Southern New Mexico Speedway in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
