Belle Clair for Speedway Motors Micros, Meet Up with Lucas Oil National Midgets in Brownstown

Belleville, IL – After a thrilling Midwest Season Opener weekend, in which Tyler Thomas swept the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget League portions and the POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro League saw a career-first with Craig Ronk and Jacksonville Speedway and a repeat winner with Joe B. Miller at Macon Speedway, the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget League gets to take a night off on Friday, May 19th while the POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro League will be in action at Belle-Clair Speedway. With the two previous Belle-Clair Speedway shows rained out for POWRi, Friday’s show will be a breath of fresh air for the micro drivers looking to take to the high banks.

Saturday, May 20th the POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro League will venture to Fayette County Speedway in Brownstown, Illinois and join up with the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget League for what has become a fan and driver favorite. The POWRi Lucas Oil Division II Midget League will not be racing at Fayette County Speedway on Saturday, May 20th. In 2016, fans saw two career-firsts at Fayette County Speedway in what was the first completed show since 2012 at the fast ¼ mile, Carson Macedo took the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget League portion, while Shelby Bosie dominated the POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro League portion.
