Tulsa, Oklahoma| June 26, 2016; 12 drivers signed in for competition at the Lawton Speedway on a warm evening in front of an outstanding crowd. Once the sun went down, a nice breeze picked up making conditions perfect for a great night of racing.
Heat races would be won by Steven Shebester and Travis Scott, with the Integrity Customs High point award going to Shebester. At intermission, Jasmine was chosen from the stands to come down from the stands to roll the dice. With a little a coaching from Mr. Shebester, Jasmine would give the dice a roll. Her roll landing on a four, inverted the nights top 4 in passing points.
After the inversion was completed it would
Be Kevin Bayer and Aaron Dromgoole leading the field to green for the nights 25 lap A-Feature. The drop of the green would see Bayer jump out to the early lead with Travis Scott and Steven Shebester in tow. Three wide racing would occur as the track officials of Lawton Speedway provided an excellent racing surface. Shebester took over the lead and began adding to the distance between himself and Scott, laps dwindled away as the battle for third was heating up.
Michelle Decker had made her way into the 3rd spot but a hard charging Wesley Smith would soon be challenging. Smith would take over the position off of turn four but Decker wasn't ready to give it up as she got a great run into one but just as she piloted her car to the bottom, so did Smith. The two would make contact with decker spinning to a stop bringing out the nights single caution.
With only 2 laps remaining the field was bunched up for the restart which would end up being a dash of shorts. Single file Shebester led Scott, Smith, Chandler, and Dromgoole back to green. Smith and Chandler would pressure the 2s of Scott, and just as the checkered would fly Scott would have some sort of mechanical problems allowing Smith and Chandler to get by him rounding out the podium as Shebester found himself in victory lane for the 3rd time this season.
