Farmington, MO – Joe B. Miller of Millersville, Missouri started on the pole of the 20 lap main event for the POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Series, took control at the drop of the green and never looked back. Sharing the front row with Concordia, Missouri’s Nathan Benson, the current point leader for the POWRi Speedway Motor 600cc Outlaw Micro Series, Miller got the jump at the wave of the green, and while several cautions plagued the main event, Benson was never able to capitalize as Miller ran away with the show. Nathan Benson finished second, while Joey Wirth took third, a season’s best for the driver out of Waterloo, Illinois. Austin Stewart finished fourth with Kent Buckley taking fifth.

“I felt like we had one taken from us last night at Belleville by a lap car while we were in the lead, but I’ve got to thank everyone that helps,” said Joe B. Miller. “We’ve been busting our butts all day trying to get the sprint car ready and get this thing maintained and ready to go again for tonight and it shows. Week in and week out, it’s kind of a grind, but we’ve been known to have some feature wins. I’ve got to thank God; I’ve been very blessed this year.”
“I just want to say thanks to my wife and my boy,” Nathan Benson stated. “We had a crash last night. Had a long day today and just didn’t get the car quite right, but we got it on the track so we’ll take that. It’s been a lot of fun racing out here with him and my wife.”

“Shelby and I battled back and forth there quite a bit,” explained Joey Wirth. “I knew I was faster than him going into one. He was washing up a little and I was working on coming out low. I knew if I could get a good run I’d beat him to the line in three and four and that’s what we did. It’s been a good weekend. We got a third place, the best we’ve done all year.”
