Belleville, IL - Effective immediately, the Midwest Lightning Midget Series based out of Avon, Indiana has partnered with POWRi to create the POWRi Midwest Division II Midget Series. “We are excited to continue to grow budget-minded racing across the Midwest by partnering with the Midwest Lightning Midget Series to create the POWRi Midwest Division II Midget Series,” said Kenny Brown. “This move not only helps to add structure to the Division II racing in Indiana, but also spreads POWRi’s span into Ohio.”
The Midwest Lightning Midget Series will run their first race under the POWRi banner on Friday, June 3rd at Skyline Speedway in Guysville, Ohio and make a groundbreaking push east as the first POWRi event in Ohio. Saturday, June 4th the series will head to Hilltop Speedway in Millersburg, Ohio to round out the weekend. The complete schedule can be found on www.powri.com under the SCHEDULE/RESULTS tab, in the Midwest Midgets section. POWRi will be supplying an end of the year point fund and contingencies. The payout will be a progressive payout, based on car count and will soon be posted on the DOWNLOADS section on powri.com.
