For Immediate Release – Valley Speedway Sanctions with POWRi
Belleville, IL – Effective retroactively to the beginning of the season, Valley Speedway in Grain Valley, Missouri has sanctioned under POWRi to form the POWRi Lucas Oil Valley Speedway Outlaw Midget Series. This series will stay true to the name, running an “outlaw” set of rules in which various types of midgets will be allowed to run, ranging from chain driven cars to national midgets. “Valley Speedway has been part of our Missouri Mid-State Midget Nationals weekend in early May for quite some time now,” stated POWRi promoter, Kenny Brown. “Sanctioning Valley Speedway will help continue to grow the sport of midget racing, giving teams a local track to run at on a fairly regular basis.”
Valley Speedway will run the POWRi Lucas Oil Valley Speedway Outlaw Midget Series on a bi-monthly basis. The complete schedule can be found on www.powri.com under the SCHEDULE/RESULTS tab, in the Outlaw Midgets section. POWRi will be supplying an end of the year point fund and contingencies.
