Muskogee, OK | April 16,2016: 17 cars signed for competition at the fast track of Outlaw Motor Speedway last night, as fans from across several states packed the grand stands.
Jason McDougal and Steven Shebester would win heat races but It would be Blake Edwards taking the Integrity Customs High Point honors. During intermission Blake would choose a young man named Levi to come roll the dice for him, and boy Levi was excited. A big roll would see the dice landing on 6 and would put Blake on the 3rd row of the nights feature.
After the invert was completed, Kyle Jones and Matt Sherrell would lead the field to green. On the initial start Michelle Decker would make contact with 2 infield tires causing the car to flip in turn two. Michelle and the 4M would be okay to go on and finish the race.
As the field would restart Sherrell would jump out to an early lead. Jason McDougal would move into the second spot with Jones in tow. As the field sorted out, and laps wound down, there were several battles being played out in the top 10. The Morton brothers of Kade and Chance Morton battled side by side for several laps before Chance would take the advantage.
In the closing laps things would get interesting upfront with Jones making a late charge to the front. Battling past McDougal, Jones would have just a few laps left to make a move to the lead. With the last lap slide job, Jones would slide up in front of Sherrell but it wouldn't be enough to take the lead and Sherrell would cross back under and be the first repeat winner of the season.
