Tulsa, OK| February 15, 2016: After a successful sophomore season the Lucas Oil POWRi West staff has been hard at work preparing for 2016. The fastest growing series in the Midwest sets the bar high for 2016 with 31 total shows with 6 of those being in conjunction with the Lucas Oil POWRi National series.
There will be plenty of first time visits for POWRi West including the season opener at Red River Speedway. The Red River Round up will provide races fans with two nights of action packed racing on Friday March 4 and Saturday March 5 in Iowa Park Texas as the Lucas Oil POWRi West Midget series joins forces with the Sprint Series of Oklahoma (SSO) and the NOW 600 micro series.
When asked what is one thing race fans can expect from the Lucas Oil POWRi West Midget series in 2016, promoter Eric Fenton replied, “Our focus is to keep the show fast and fun. We want to keep the grass roots racing that we started with but make our series standout from the rest."
