Oklahoma City, OK (4/18/26) — Frank Flud earned the A-Class feature victory, Cash Lacombe claimed Non-Wing honors, Dawson Woods topped Restricted competition, and Bryton Buoy scored the Jr Sprint win to cap Championship Night of the Whelen Engineering Mini Sprint Nationals presented by Start2Finish TV at I-44 Speedway with the POWRi/NOW600 RaceTech Titanium $uper $eries.
A total of 157 entries filled the pit area across the four divisions, with Brexton Busch setting quick time in A-Class at 10.939, Brant Woods leading Non-Wing qualifying at 11.832, Colin Pruitt pacing Restricted at 11.908, and Jett Swindoll quickest in Jr Sprints at 13.916.
Early on-track action in heat race competition saw Noah Carpenter, Cash Lacombe, Jadyn Friesen, Jase Blevins, Keegan Osantowski, Jett Nunley, and TJ Stark earn A-Class victories. Non-Wing heat wins went to Brant Woods, Justis Sokol, Noah Carpenter, Cole Roberts, Aiden Purdue, Gunnar Pio, and Isaiah Garcia. Restricted heat race wins were secured by Ryker Jones, Brooks Buoy, and Blake Crooms, while Breck Buoy topped Jr Sprint heat racing.
Setting the stage for Championship Night feature action, semi-feature victories were claimed by Brant Woods, Jeffrey Newell, and Dawson Woods in A-Class; Haidyn Hansen, Cullen Hutchison, and Aidan Turner in Non-Wing; and Clayton Jenkins in Restricted competition.
Green flag feature racing kicked off with the Jr Sprint division, where Bryton Buoy led 17 of 20 laps to complete the weekend sweep. Kasen Kalkwarf, who led the opening three laps, finished second, with Giovanni Lucito charging from sixth to round out the podium.
In Restricted competition, Dawson Woods completed his own weekend sweep after leading 13 of the 25-lap feature. Brexton Busch, who led 17 laps in a back-and-forth battle, finished second, while Mason Vincent advanced from fourth to secure the final podium position.
The Non-Wing division stayed caution-free as Cash Lacombe controlled the field, leading 25 of 30 laps to earn the victory. Frank Flud kept the pressure on, finishing a close second after leading four laps, with Jadyn Friesen taking third after pacing one circuit.
Closing out the night in A-Class competition, Frank Flud delivered a dominant performance, leading all 25 laps to secure the win. Brecken Reese advanced from fourth to finish runner-up, while Brant Woods charged forward 12 positions from 15th to complete the podium.
