Belleville, IL. (4/1/2026) - POWRi Racing officials have announced the cancellation of the scheduled Heartland Harley-Davidson 410 Spring Fling at 34 Raceway on April 3-4 due to substantial precipitation and forecasted cold temperatures throughout the week and into the weekend.
“With consistent rainfall throughout the week, little improvement in the forecast, and rising travel costs, the decision was made in the best interest of teams, fans, and competitors,” said Talin Turner, Series Director of POWRi Racing. “We didn’t want to put teams on the road with no real hope of getting the races in.”
At this time, no postponement date has been secured for the canceled event. However, should an opportunity to reschedule become available, POWRi Racing and 34 Raceway will provide updates accordingly. The POWRi Honest Abe Roofing 410 Outlaw Sprint League is scheduled to return to 34 Raceway on Friday, September 4.
With the early-season adjustment, the highly anticipated Bluebonnet Showdown at Big O Speedway will now serve as the opening weekend for the POWRi Honest Abe Roofing 410 Outlaw Sprint League season on April 24-25, officially kicking off the 2026 campaign.
While the cancellation is unfortunate, teams will now have the opportunity to spend Easter weekend at home with family before what is expected to be a demanding and action-packed season. POWRi Racing appreciates the continued support and understanding from fans, teams, and partners.
