Belleville, IL. (1/28/26) - POWRi Racing is pleased to announce the outlook for the Illinois Midget Racing Association (IMRA) heading into the 2026 season, highlighted by an eight-race mini-series contested exclusively at Macon Speedway.
IMRA continues to serve as an effective proving ground for emerging talent while also providing veteran competitors a cost-conscious opportunity to compete in a professionally managed midget racing environment.
The series features a competitive format aligned with regional midget programs through similar rule packages, encouraging greater competition and collaboration across the region while offering teams and drivers an accessible platform to showcase their abilities.

Event payouts will be as follows: 1. $1,000, 2. $500, 3. $350, 4. $300, 5. $200, 6. $190, 7. $180, 8. $170, 9. $160, 10-20: $150. The seasonal point fund payout will include: 1. $1,000, 2. $500, 3. $350, 4. $300, 5. $200, 6. $190, 7. $180, 8. $170, 9. $160, 10: $150. Drivers must attend at least 80% of completed events and be a POWRi IMRA member to be eligible for end-of-year awards and point fund payouts.

A one-time mandatory $150 membership covers $100,000 in secondary medical insurance and includes no pill draw fee for competitors at events. Rules are available online at https://www.powri.com/rules/ under the IMRA tab.
