Belleville, IL (1/27/26) - The POWRi Wingless Auto Racing (WAR) Sprint League is primed for an action-packed 2026 season, featuring hallmark annual events, multiple returning venues, and a competitive slate of traditional non-wing sprint car racing across the Midwest.
Opening the campaign with a familiar stop, the POWRi WAR Sprint League will make three visits to the high-banked US 36 Raceway in Osborn, Missouri, kicking off the season on April 10 before returning on May 1 and June 12.
By popular demand, POWRi WAR competitors will also revisit Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois, on June 26, pairing with the POWRi Honest Abe Roofing 410 Outlaw Sprint League for a special open-wheel program.
Serving as a focal point of the 2026 calendar, Lucas Oil Speedway — the “Diamond of the Dirt Tracks” — will host four POWRi WAR Sprint League events as part of the Road to the Hockett mini-series on May 16, June 27, August 1, and August 22.
The 2026 POWRi WAR points season will conclude in prestigious fashion with the 16th Annual Jesse Hockett/Daniel McMillin Memorial, contested September 17–19 at Lucas Oil Speedway, one of the most anticipated and celebrated events in non-wing sprint car racing.
