Belleville, IL. (10/20/25) Young standout and rising star Gage Pio captured the 2025 POWRi KKM Challenge Series Jr. Sprint championship, wrapping up a tremendous campaign filled with growth, determination, and nail-biting finishes.
Battling from the start of the season, Pio — from Kunkletown, Pennsylvania — showcased his potential by finishing inside the top five in seven of ten events, steadily improving his performance from race to race. Mid-season brought a signature moment at Dodge City, where Pio charged through the field to claim a thrilling victory, marking a key turning point in his title run.
Remaining poised all year, Pio minimized mistakes and collected podiums that solidified his points lead, with composure paying off as he officially clinched the championship when the final tally was posted. Jaxson Evett finished second in a tight battle for the title, with Paxton Belchik rounding out the year-end podium.
With the championship now secured, Gage Pio joins the ranks of KKM Challenge Series champions, positioning himself as one to watch heading into 2026 — as a new season and fresh opportunities await.
