Jacob Denney Dominates in 2025 POWRi National Midget League Championship

Belleville, IL. (10/20/25) Wrapping up a remarkable year of competition, Jacob Denney, of Galloway, Ohio, has been crowned the 2025 POWRi National Midget League Champion, showcasing season-long speed, consistency, and poise behind the wheel of the Keith Kunz/Curb-Agajanian Motorsports No. 67 entry.

Throughout the 2025 campaign, Denney set the standard across the POWRi National Midget circuit, collecting a league-leading six feature victories and finishing inside the top ten in each of his sixteen appearances. Highlights included standout triumphs at Doe Run Raceway, Highland Speedway, Macon Speedway, I-55 Raceway, Farmer City Raceway, and Port City Raceway, with Denney frequently finding himself battling among the front-runners night after night.

“This season has been incredible,” Denney stated following the championship confirmation. “The entire KKM team gave me amazing cars all year long. I can’t thank my crew, my family, and everyone who supports me enough.”

Clinching the championship in commanding fashion, Denney’s blend of precision and pace propelled him to the top of the point standings, ultimately earning the title by a comfortable margin over a talented field that included Gavin Miller, Cannon McIntosh, Kameron Key, and Rookie of the Year winner Colton Robinson, all finishing inside the top five of the season standings.

The 2025 season saw Denney etch his name onto the elite list of POWRi champions, capping a year of dominance and solidifying his place as one of the brightest young talents in open-wheel racing.
