POWRi National & West Midget Entries ‘In the Hunt’ at Port City Raceway

Belleville, IL. (10/8/25) The POWRi National Midget League is set to return to Port City Raceway this weekend for a thrilling series of end-of-year races. Top-notch competitors from across the nation will converge on Tulsa to showcase the 6th Annual Donnie Ray Crawford Sooner State 55 on Thursday, October 9, followed by the highly anticipated 21st Annual Charlene Meents Memorial, running Friday and Saturday, October 10–11.

Entering the final weekend of seasonal competition, National Midget point leader Jacob Denney looks to seal the deal on a superb 2025 championship campaign, coming into Port City Raceway with a league-leading six wins on the year. Joining his KKM teammates, defending champion Cannon McIntosh returns to the fast-paced festivities, tied for second on the all-time win list with thirty series feature victories.

Bringing a fleet of high-caliber competitors, Keith Kunz Motorsports will also field Rookie-of-the-Year point leader Colton Robinson, four-time feature winner Gavin Miller, former POWRi Micro champion Kale Drake, as well as international talent Brandon Carr, all joining the Port City Raceway action.

Continuing with top-tier talent heading to Tulsa, former league champion Karter Sarff joins the weekend battles as Carbone Motorsports ups the action ante, with feature winner Kameron Key and Michael Faccinto teaming up for the racing retreat. Front-runner Chase McDermand will also make the haul from Illinois.

Expecting an invasion of POWRi West Midget competitors, former West champion Andrew Felker can never be counted out at Port City, with seven-time West winner Kyle Jones joining Team Engler for the three-day stay. Always competitive, Trey Marcham carries momentum into Tulsa, while Jonathan Beason will take on not only driving duties but car-owner responsibilities as well, fielding Cooper Miller behind the wheel.

Keeping the fast-paced anticipation high, Brecken Reese will continue driving duties for Chandler Grand Prix as the team fields a pair of entries, with TJ Stark making his league debut over the weekend. Missouri standout Branigan Roark also plans to join the three days of speed in Tulsa.
