Kameron Key Claims Ironman 55 Win with POWRi National Midgets and Xtreme at I-55 Raceway

Pevely, MO. (8/2/25) Kameron Key would advance seven spots in elbows-up action at Federated Auto Parts I-55 Raceway to earn his first career feature win with the POWRi National Midget League, running in conjunction with Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series presented by Toyota, on Saturday night after leading nine laps in support of the ‘Ironman 55’.

Early on-track excitement with twenty-six entries to the POWRi National Midgets, running in conjunction with Xtreme Outlaw Midgets, would find Jacob Denney start the action off with a quick-time in group hot-lap qualifying with a time of 13.486 seconds as Jacob Denney, Colton Robinson, and Zach Wigal would each notch heat racing victories.

Setting the feature field would find the high-point qualifier Jacob Denney roll an invert of zero setting himself and Colton Robinson on the front row leading the field as the green flag flew with Denney gaining the initial advantage on the opening lap, as third-starting Zach Wigal would take the top spot for a pair of laps.

Leading the final nine laps, Kameron Key would not be denied in gaining his inaugural seasonal victory with leader of seventeen laps and sixth-starting Corbin Rueschenberg settling into the runner-up spot as three-lap-leading Jacob Denney finalized the podium placements in a hard-fought feature.

Flying through the field would find Cannon McIntosh finish fourth with Joe B Miller rounding out the POWRi National Midget League, running in conjunction with the Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series presented by Toyota, top-five finishers at Federated Auto Parts I-55 Raceway in the ‘Ironman 55’ on Saturday.
