Belleville, IL. (7/13/25) Competing for the series second time at the outstanding hosting venue of Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway, the rapidly growing POWRi Avanti Windows & Doors Southwest Ecotec Midget Series would contend in a double dose of battles in the twelfth and thirteenth seasonal events as Travis DeGaton and Nathan High would earn the hard-fought feature victory over in the Patrick Kop Memorial racing weekend.

Kickstarting the second weekend night of series excitement at Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway with twenty-four POWRi SWEM Series entries, Travis DeGaton, Kyle Huttenhow, and Dayton Shelton each notched the heat racing wins while Travis DeGaton would earn the high point qualifier award for the event.

Going green flag racing in the feature would find speedster Travis DeGaton wheel his way to victory by leading all of the twenty laps after starting in pole position and winning his second series victory. Second-starting Dylan Schaadt would finish runner-up ahead of Tyler High, placing third from starting sixth as Nathan High advanced four positions to finish fourth with Dayton Shelton rounding out the top-five finishers at Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway on Night One of the Patrick Kop Memorial.

Beginning the second weekend night of series excitement with twenty-two entries at Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway with the POWRi SWEM Series would witness Shon Deskins, Travis DeGaton, and Grant Schaadt each notched the heat racing wins, while Shon Deskins would earn the high point qualifier award for the event.

Progressing green flag racing in the feature would find Nathan High wheel his way to victory by leading all twenty of the feature laps after starting in third position and winning his first series victory. Eighth-starting Tyler Ruth would finish runner-up ahead of night-one winner Travis DeGaton, placing third from starting second as Dayton Shelton finished fourth with thirteenth-starting Rickey Kinney Jr rounding out the top-five finishers on Night Two of the Patrick Kop Memorial at Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway.
