Starting the pavement racing night of seasonal competition action within the POWRi Elite Non-Wing Sprints would find Joshua Hanna set the quick qualifying time of 14.982 seconds as Hanna and Jason Howell would each earn front row grid for the fifty-lap main event.
Sailing into traditional feature green flag racing would find second-starter Jason Howell outran the field while leading the final seventeen laps to earn his first career-sanctioned victory in the POWRi Elite Non-Wing Sprint Series.
