Pevely, MO. (6/21/25) Jacob Denney would put on a thrilling drive from starting fifteenth to victory at Federated Auto Parts I-55 Raceway to earn his sixth career feature win with the POWRi National Midget League, running in conjunction with Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series presented by Toyota, on Saturday night after leading the final four laps.
Early on-track excitement with twenty-four entries to the POWRi National Midgets, running in conjunction with Xtreme Outlaw Midgets, would find Chase McDermand start the action off with a quick time in group hot-lap qualifying with a time of 13.493 seconds as Michael Faccinto, Zach Daum, and Shannon McQueen would each notch heat racing victories.
Setting the feature field would find the high-point qualifier Michael Faccinto roll an invert of four to set Cannon McIntosh and Gavin Miller on the front row leading the field as the green flag flew with McIntosh and Sarff swapping the lead early.
Leading eighteen laps, night-one winner Cannon McIntosh would continue to battle the leader of five laps Karter Sarff as the field would battle behind the early two advantaged leaders with great passing throughout the field.
Advancing fourteen positions, Jacob Denney would hard-charge to the front and not be denied in gaining his third seasonal victory with McIntosh moving into the runner-up spot as Gavin Miller finalized the podium placements in a hard-fought feature.
Soaring among the frontrunners would find Chase McDermand finish fourth with Colton Robinson rounding out the POWRi National Midget League, running in conjunction with the Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series presented by Toyota, top-five finishers at Federated Auto Parts I-55 Raceway on Saturday.
