Belleville, IL. (6/15/25) Competing for the series’ first time at the outstanding hosting venue of Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway, the rapidly growing POWRi Avanti Windows & Doors Southwest Ecotec Midget Series would contend in a double dose of battles in the tenth and eleventh seasonal events as Dayton Shelton and Travis DeGaton would earn the hard-fought feature victory over the racing weekend.

Kickstarting the first weekend night of series excitement with twenty-two entries at Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway with the POWRi SWEM Series would witness Nathan High, David Gasper, and Daylin Perreira each notch the heat racing wins with Perreira earning the high point qualifier award for the event.

Going green flag racing in the feature would find Dayton Shelton wheeling his way to victory by leading thirteen of the twenty laps after starting in the ninth position and winning this third-series victory. Sixth-starting David Gasper would finish runner-up ahead of Tyler High, who would lead five laps and place third as Shon Deskins finished fourth with thirteenth-starting Travis DeGaton rounding out the top five finishers in the POWRi SWEM Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway inaugural event.

Beginning the second weekend night of series excitement with twenty entries at Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway with the POWRi SWEM Series would witness Tyler High, Nathan High, and Chloe High each notched the heat racing wins while Chloe High would earn the high point qualifier award for the event.
Progressing green flag racing in the feature would find Travis DeGaton wheeling his way to victory by leading the final four laps of the twenty-lap feature after starting in tenth position and winning his first series victory. First-starting Chloe High would finish runner-up ahead of Shon Deskins, placing third from starting sixth as Brody Wake advanced a position to finish fourth with night one winner Dayton Shelton rounding out the top five finishers at Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway.
