Hays, KS. (6/8/25) Mounting momentum into the third weekend of racing with a SunFlower-State-Shot of POWRi Nutrien Ag Revival Super Dirt Series fueled by Sunoco speed, Josh Leonard would battle through lap traffic action to earn his first series checkers in a thriller at Rolling Plains Motor Speedway on Saturday.
Starting the fourth competitive night for the series in 2025, Thomas County Speedway would see Jake Nightingale clinch the quick-time in qualifying with a lap of 16.773, with rainfall settling into the area after opening ceremonies and canceling the remainder of the event on Friday.
Establishing the fifth competitive series night, REV would see John Hansen clinch the quick-time in qualifying with a lap of 17.274 over thirty-two entries. Brandon Conkwright, Scott Rhoades, Kylan Garner, and Andy Bryant would each earn heat racing qualifier victories as Troy Burkhart would take the semi-feature checkers, and Josh Leonard attained the high-point qualifier award through a provisional dash win.
Racing into feature green flag racing would find pole-starter Josh Leonard outduel John Hansen out of the first pair of corners as Leonard would hold the preferred position as the field calculated for spots behind the leader.
Using lap traffic with precision in epic side-by-side battles, John Hansen would overtake for the lead using the high side around the mid-point of the feature, only to see the low-line come back to speed late, with Josh Leonard retaking the lead with less than five laps remaining.
Holding steady over a lap twenty-one caution restart, Josh Leonard would gain his first career victory in the Revival Super Dirt Series, ahead of fourth-starter and runner-up placement John Hansen to capture the feature win. Speedy would Brandon Conkwright clinch third as Jake Nightingale finished fourth with Dan Smith rounding out the top-five finishers for the POWRi Nutrien Ag Revival Super Dirt Series fueled by Sunoco feature event at Rolling Plains Motor Speedway on Saturday.
