Pontoon Beach, IL (6/5/25) Persistent rainfall and continued unfavorable weather conditions have forced the cancellation of the scheduled POWRi Honest Abe Roofing 410 Outlaw Sprint League and POWRi Wholesale Batteries WAR Sprint League event at Tri-City Speedway, originally set for Friday, June 6.
With the grounds already heavily saturated from consistent weekly rain and additional precipitation in the forecast, officials from POWRi and Tri-City Speedway have determined that holding the event would not be possible while ensuring the safety of competitors, teams, and fans.
“While we were all looking forward to bringing our series to Tri-City, the weather just hasn’t cooperated this week,” said Talin Turner, POWRi Series Director. “We appreciate the continued support and understanding of our fans, teams, and track partners.”
At this time, the POWRi Honest Abe Roofing 410 Outlaw Sprint League event at Paducah International Raceway on Saturday, June 7, and the POWRi WAR Sprint/Midwest Wingless Racing Association Challenge Series event at Macon Speedway remain on as scheduled.
