Belleville, IL. (5/17/25) Continuing the traditional thrills of open-wheel sprinting action with the Sunset Grill POWRi Non-Wing Sprints, Vado Speedway Park would host the second seasonal event of 2025, as Caleb Stelzig would repeat yearly successes in capturing the hard-fought sanctioned-series feature win for the twenty-fifth time in his burgeoning career.
Establishing the on-track adrenaline rushes of the weekend at Vado Speedway Park for the Sunset Grill POWRi Vado Non-Wing Sprint would witness Robert Herrera and Colt Treharn each earning the heat race wins.
Flying from starting in the third position on the grid, Caleb Stelzig would shoot to the lead to gain his second seasonal series victory, even though under-powered in a 305-engine, as seventh-starting Michael Fanelli finished runner-up with Colt Treharn gaining the final podium placement from starting fifth.
Battling from the beginning of the feature in ninth, JR Bonesteel would finish fourth with second-starting Robert Herrera rounding out the top-five finishers for the Sunset Grill POWRi Non-Wing Sprints at Vado Speedway Park on Opening Night.
