Belleville, IL. (5/17/25) Continuing ‘Land of Lincoln’ battles in the 2025 season, the third sanctioned seasonal event in the POWRi Illinois Midget Racing Association would find Alex Midkiff earning the feature win to notch his second career series victory.
Starting the night of POWRi sanctioning on-track battles, IMRA would find Alex Midkiff notch the heat racing win with Dominic Bruns gaining the pole-starting grid for the feature event.
Green flag feature racing would find Alex Midkiff clinching the front of the field from starting third as the checkers waved after leading the final six laps in the feature to earn the Macon Speedway feature event as pole-starter, and early leader Dominic Bruns placed a solid runner-up.
Staying consistently close to the leaders, Shane Morgan would finish third as James Picardi wheeled his way to place fourth with Jace Sparks rounding out the top five feature finishers for the POWRi Illinois Midget Racing Association at Macon Speedway on Saturday.
