Belleville, IL. (5/15/25) Creating a two-day weekend in the Land of Lincoln, the POWRi WAR Sprint Wildcard Series will head to Tri-City Speedway on Friday, June 6, for a non-points special. Running alongside the POWRi Honest Abe Roofing 410 Outlaw Sprints, it’s set to be a big night of open-wheel action. This wildcard event will lead into the Saturday, June 7, event at the 1/5-mile high banks of Macon Speedway.
“We wanted to give drivers and teams an opportunity to run two nights that weekend without having to worry about points—especially for the working teams that have to travel long distances,” explained Talin Turner of POWRi. He went on to say, “Tri-City has been great to work with, and we look forward to a night of wing and non-wing sprint car racing.”
