Dayton Shelton Repeats Win with POWRi SWEM Returns to Adobe Mountain

Belleville, IL. (4/26/25) Racing into the outstanding hosting venue of Adobe Mountain Speedway, the rapidly growing POWRi Avanti Windows & Doors Southwest Ecotec Midget Series would contend in a single night of on-track battles in the seventh seasonal event as Dayton Shelton would earn the hard-fought feature victory over the racing weekend.

Kickstarting the night of series excitement at Adobe Mountain Speedway with the POWRi SWEM Series would witness Shon Deskins set the quick time during hot laps with a time of 12.965 as Grant Schaadt, Shon Deskins, and Dayton Shelton each notched the heat racing wins.

Going green flag racing in the feature would find Dayton Shelton wheeling his way to victory by leading twelve of the twenty laps after starting fourth position and winning his second series victory. Pole-starting Grant Schaadt would finish runner-up ahead of Shon Deskins placing third from starting third as Nathan High advanced a single position to finish fourth with Tyler Merrill rounding out the top-five finishers at Adobe Mountain Speedway.
