Belleville, IL. (4/20/25) Contending in weekend action for the first time in series history, the POWRi Southern Sprint Car Association would display on-track theatrics with Ronny Howard claiming the first series feature victory on Friday at North Alabama Speedway, as Jan Howard would earn the hard-fought victory at West Alabama Speedway on Saturday.
Beginning the burgeoning series at North Alabama Speedway on Friday, April 18th, the Southern Sprint Car Association would find Jan Howard and Terry Easum each gain heat race wins, with Terry Easum earning the event’s high point qualifier award.
Contending in the first feature for the emerging series would witness Ronny Howard hard-charging his way to earn the inaugural series victory after passing a trio of cars in the twenty-lap event from a fourth starting position. Third-starting Hayden Martin would cross the checkers second with Jan Howard finalizing the podium placements as Terry Easum and Chase Howard rounded out the Night One top five at North Alabama Speedway with the POWRi Southern Sprint Car Association.
Starting the second series event after traveling to West Alabama Speedway, the POWRi Southern Sprint Car Association would witness Jan Howard shoot to the preferred position with the field calculating for spots behind the leader.
Earning his first career victory in the POWRi SCCA Division, Jan Howard would outrun runner-up placement Hayden Martin to capture the feature win. Speedy Terry Easum would clinch third as Chase Howard finished fourth with night-one winner Ronny Howard rounding out the top-five finishers for the POWRi Southern Sprint Car Association feature event at West Alabama Speedway with Levi Beard earning the event hard charger accolade on Saturday.
