Belleville, IL. (10/13/24) Amassing a growing career legacy within National Midget competitions, Cannon McIntosh would attain greatness in 2024 while highlighting the on-track successes needed to dominatingly clinch the POWRi National Midget League championship over a highly competitive seasonal field.
Achieving a quartet of feature wins on the season to raise his career count to twenty-six all-time, moving McIntosh into fourth on the career win list only trailing Brad Loyet, Christopher Bell, and Bryan Clauson. Cannon would reel off sixteen top-five performances throughout the seventeen seasonal starts placing inside the top ten in every single one of the POWRi National Midget League season starts; with a yearly worst finish of a sixth-place showing at Federated Auto Parts I-55 Raceway in August.
Driving the front of the field familiar Keith Kunz Motorsports, GearWrench, Cresent, IWX, Wilwood, Blackbeard, Curb Records, Mobil1, Toyota Racing Development, Lynk Chassis, Speedway Toyota Racing Engine #08; McIntosh would matriculate a masterful season of point earning starts to take the title as the POWRi National Midget League 2024 Champion.
Picking up a trio of quick time awards, Cannon would also earn seven heat race victories on the season and notch a triplet of high point qualifier accolades. Shining in feature event competitions by advancing fifty positions in competitional green flag racing while leading one-hundred-twenty-nine laps in the title-clinching 2024 POWRi National Midget League season.
