Attaining an outstanding midget competition rookie campaign of five top-ten performances in the POWRi West Midget League season, Broc Elliott, of California Missouri, would earn the title-finalizing season in nine divisional starts. Boasting the seasonal best showings of fourth at Lucas Oil Speedway in May, Elliott would not be denied in his quest to become a yearly title holder.
Driving the familiar Coal Train Energy, Elite Pest Controls, B&B Drain and Sewer, Mike Rauba Productions, Schmidt Bro’s Mowing, Sonny’s, Prime Composites, Ziehmer Fencing, WK Dodge, Xtreme Body and Paint, Chandler Grand Prix, JR1 Chassis, Gaerte/Chevy V-4 Racing Engine; Broc Elliott would hold steady through the late season push of two-time stand-alone winner and runner-up on the year Trey Marcham.
