Belleville, IL. (8/6/24) Adding attraction within the Lonestar State, Performance Open Wheel Racing, Inc. (POWRi) is excited to announce the sanctioning of the Texas Sprint Series (TSS) for the 2024 racing season and beyond. In a move that promises to elevate the series to new heights, POWRi's involvement will bring enhanced organization, media coverage, and competitive opportunities to the Texas-based sprint car series.
“The sanctioning by POWRi mark a new era for the Texas Sprint Series,” stated Chris Walters, Director of the Texas Sprint Series. “This partnership will not only boost the operational aspects of our series but also offer our competitors greater exposure and more opportunities to highlight their talents.”
Debuting in 2024 in a Texas-sized POWRi 410, Elite Outlaw, and Texas Sprint Series Showdown at the Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track during the Fall Double-Header. Featuring the fast-paced actions of the POWRi 410 Outlaw Sprints, running in conjunction with the Elite Outlaw Sprints, as well as the introduction support of the POWRi Texas Sprint Series on October 4-5.

Starting with a limited schedule of three races in 2024 with future expansions already in place for next season and beyond, the POWRi Texas Sprint Series will also host the enticing asphalt event at Houston Motorsports Park on Saturday, October 19th.
