Braydon Cromwell Captures Checkers at Lake Ozark Speedway with POWRi WAR

Braydon Cromwell Captures Checkers at Lake Ozark Speedway with POWRi WAR

Eldon, MO. (7/5/24) Braydon Cromwell would rise to the racing occasion in the first night of the Independence Celebrations feature event at Lake Ozark Speedway with the POWRi WAR Sprint League to notch his first career feature victory to begin the weekend two-step.

Racing onto the quick surface of Lake Ozark Speedway, POWRi WAR would find traditional sprinters witnessing Braydon Cromwell set the quickest hot-lap time of 13.799-second lap as Xavier Doney earned heat racing victories.
Kick-starting the initial green flag start with high-point qualifier Braydon Cromwell and Xavier Doney lined up in the front row, Braydon Cromwell would gain the lead on the opening lap with Doney blasting into the runner-up spot as Casey Shuman rounded out the early podium.

Holding steady up front, Braydon Cromwell would appear to set his quick ride on cruise control for the first half of the race with Xavier Doney gradually running down the front-runner as Casey Shuman, Samuel Wagner, and a hard-charging Cody Baker all battled within the top-five.

Setting the stage for a late-race restart would witness Braydon Cromwell never flinching in riding the high-line around Lake Ozark Speedway with Xavier Doney throwing everything he could at the leader with Cromwell never relinquishing the preferred front-end position.

Emerging victorious for the first time in his career with the POWRi WAR Sprint League Braydon Cromwell would capture the feature victory at Lake Ozark Speedway with Xavier Doney staying in the hunt to finish runner-up as Samuel Wagner completed the final podium placements.

“Xavier is so fast and it took everything I had to keep him back there, we raced as clean and as close as you could” said victorious Braydon Cromwell in the Eldon, Missouri victory lane celebrations. Adding, “I heard him running the bottom after that last restart and knew I had to get up on the wheel.”

Repeatedly hard-charging past four drivers would find Cody Baker finish fourth as Casey Shuman rounded out the top-five finishers for the POWRi WAR at Lake Ozark Speedway.
