Belleville, IL. (6/18/24) Intensifying in interest while beginning a ‘Land of Lincoln’ stay while welcoming a fresh demographic of entrants, Southern Illinois Raceway, in conjunction with Keith Kunz Motorsports and POWRi Racing, will next welcome top talents in a trio of open-wheel divisions for the fifth yearly installment of the KKM Challenge on August 21-24.
Entries for the Southern Illinois Raceway portion of the Keith Kunz Motorsports Challenge featuring the POWRi Non-Wing Outlaw Micro, POWRi Restrictor, and POWRi Jr Sprint are each available online at https://www.myracepass.com/series/1572/registrations/9095.
Southern Illinois Raceway, working in connection with Keith Kunz Motorsports and POWRi Racing, will host the Fifth KKM Challenge of 2024 on August 21-24, featuring practice on Wednesday, August 21st followed by split-field Qualifying Races on Thursday, August 22nd, and Friday, August 23rd ultimately culminating in the $10,000-to-win main event on Saturday, August 24th for the POWRi Non-Wing Outlaw Micro League as well as the support divisions of Restrictors and Jr. Sprint classes running a full program each event night.

Winners of the $10K-to-win finale events at each of the KKM Challenge Races will receive automatic entry into the “Challenge Champions Dash” at the KKM Giveback Classic at Port City Raceway on October 19th, with that winner earning automatic entry into the King of Port pole-shuffle and prized starting position in the Non-Wing Outlaw feature event for the KKM Giveback Classic.
