Lorne Wofford Launches to Jackson Compaction POWRi Vado 305 Sprint Victory

Belleville, IL. (6/1/24) Continuing the exciting 2024 racing season with the fourth installment of yearly on-track action at Vado Speedway Park, the POWRi Jackson Compaction Vado 305 Wing Sprints would witness Lorne Wofford notch his league-leading sixteenth career series victory after an outstanding main event.

Early on-track competitions with top-notch competitors would find Derek DeMartino set the quickest hot lap time of 14.274 as Justin Lasiter and Royal Jones each would earn the heat racing victories with Lorne Wofford and Robert Herrera making the front row bringing the field to green for the feature event after an intermission redraw.

Protecting the lead from the pole-starting spot would witness Lorne Wofford leading all twenty revolutions around Vado Speedway Park to gain his first series win of 2024 in the POWRi Vado 305 Sprints as Dylan Harris would finish runner-up from starting fifth with Danny Williams completing the podium placements from starting third.

Soaring into front-running contention would find tenth-starting Jett Carney finish fourth as twelfth-starting Derek DeMartino rounded out the top-five finishers at Vado Speedway Park with the POWRi Jackson Compaction Vado 305 Wing Sprints on Saturday’s weekly racing night.
