Belleville, IL. (10/15/23) Clinching the 2023 POWRi National Midget League Jim Childers Rookie of the Year Award, Corbin Rueschenberg has been more than impressive in his debut year with consistency and a solid top-five placement in the overall National League Season Championship.
Attaining a trio of top-five performances as well as ten top-tens in the POWRi National Midget League entry season, Corbin Rueschenberg, of Mesa Arizona, would earn the title over twenty divisional yearly starts. Achieving a pair of quick-time awards, Corbin would also win a single heat race victory and three semi-features. Gaining thirty-nine positions on the season, Rueschenberg continues to rise through the ranks throughout the year.
Wheeling the familiar JPU Racing, EnergIce, FK Rod-Ends, Southwest Overhead Garage Doors, MB2 Industries, Spike Chassis, Stanton SR-11x Racing Engine #26R; Corbin would outpace the inaugural season push in points of Decatur Arkansas’ Cooper Williams who would finish the season in the runner-up spot of the second annual Jim Childers Rookie of the Year Award standings with the POWRi National Midget League.
