(10/15/23) Intensifying the on-track advantages to clinch a championship in thirteen events throughout the 2023 racing season, the POWRi West Midget League would find the consistently contending successes of Michelle Decker dominate in the yearly championship by boasting over a one-thousand point advantage over the next closest entrant.
Attaining a trio of top-five performances in the POWRi West Midget League season, Michelle Decker, of Guthrie Oklahoma, would earn the title-finalizing season in twelve divisional starts. Boasting a pair of seasonal best showings of fourth at I-44 Riverside Speedway, Decker would not be denied her quest to become champion.
Driving the familiar Roof Bolt Express, Wilkens Autobody, Four in the Fluff Racing, Superior Finish and Powdercoating, Dale’s Electric, BOSS Chassis, Esslinger Racing Engine #7D; Michelle would hold off the late season push of points of Kennedale Texas’ Kyle Jones who would finish the season in the runner-up spot of the POWRi West Midget League season standings with a single win on the year.
