(9/24/23) Soaring into the final weekend of September’s potential point-earning conquests in the 2023 season, the POWRi Lightning Sprint Division would find a dou of regions hosting events spanning the weekend as the constantly narrowing National Championship chase remains active as Dexter Dvergsten continues to set the standard with defending champion Alex Truscinski making a late-season push for a potential repeat prize.
Proving the duality of the division, feature winners over the weekend would include all-time victory count leader Johnny Boos adding his forty-fifth win of his illustrious career while racing at El Paso County Raceway in the Rocky Mountain region with upstart Peter Benker gaining his first career feature win in the Southwest at Imperial Valley Speedway.
