(8/28/23) Driving into the final weekend of August competition with a trio of regions offering action-packed events, the POWRi Lightning Sprint Division continues to display great racing gatherings as entrants chase points throughout the continually developing National Championship chase.
Feature winners over the weekend would include Jerran Falke earning his first career feature victory racing at the MLS home facility of Central Missouri Speedway as Johnny Boos would race to his forty-second career win with RMLSA at El Paso County Raceway. Battling in the north, Minn-Kota would witness a single night of action with national point leader Dexter Dvergsten visiting victory lane to earn his thirty-seven career victory at Buffalo River on Sunday. Western racing would be canceled due to the impending Hurricane Hillary in the Southwest region at Perris Auto Speedway.
