Belleville, IL. (8/21/2023) Flying onto the speedy and technical surfaces of Peoria Speedway for the initial time of 2023 for the burgeoning series, the sixth sanctioned seasonal competition in the POWRi Illinois Midget Racing Association would witness Tracy Hull calculate the winning formula to earn the feature win and his first series victory of the 2023 racing season.
Starting the sixth night of POWRi sanctioning, IMRA would find Ruben Haslett and Shane Morgan each notch heat racing wins with Russell Johnston gaining the pole-starting grid for the feature event.
Green flag feature racing would find Tracy Hull clinching the front of the field as the checkers waived on the feature laps to earn the Peoria Speedway feature event return with Shane Morgan gaining a solid runner-up showing.
Staying contiguously close to the leaders, Russell Johnston would finish third as Michael Hermacinski wheeled his way through the field from starting sixth to place fourth with seventh-starting Jim Picardi rounding out the top five feature finishers for the POWRi Illinois Midget Racing Association at Peoria Speedway on Saturday.
