Belleville, IL. (7/31/23) Returning to the fine hosting facility of Aztec Speedway for a two-day occurrence of racing enjoyment, the POWRi Desert Micro Series would highlight highly skilled driving talents as Connor Lundy and Spencer Hill would each clinch the feature weekend victories in the “Big Daddy/Hooch Memorial”.

Kickstarting the weekend of racing excitement with sixteen entries at Aztec Speedway with the POWRi Desert Micro Sprint Series, Friday action would witness Spencer Hill and Connor Jacobs each notch the heat racing wins while Connor Lundy would earn the feature victory after starting on the pole to win his first series victory. Second-starting Spencer Hill would finish runner-up as Connor Jacobs placed third as Grant Schaadt advanced six positions to finish fourth with Devon Amos rounding out the top-five finishers on Night One.

Green flag racing Saturday again with sixteen entries would find Night One Winner Conner Lundy and Grant Schaadt pocket the heat race victories with double-duty-driving Spencer Hill earning the series feature checkers for the first time of the newly launched series. Grant Schaadt would speed into notching a solid second-place showing. Succeeding toward the front, Devon Amos would finish third with Joshua Huish fourth as Bradley Huish rounded out the top-five finishing order for the POWRi Desert Micro Series at Aztec Speedway on Saturday.
