Belleville, IL. (7/31/23) Sandia Speedway would welcome back the open-wheel action of the POWRi New Mexico Motor Racing Association for the thirteenth series event of 2023 as defending champion Caleb Stelzig would wheel his way to the feature victory for the seventeenth time of his career.
Starting the open-wheel excitement at Sandia Speedway for the POWRi NMMRA would witness Caleb Stelzig earning the lone heat race win as well as earning the night's high-point qualifier honor.
Flying from starting on the pole grid, recurrent front-runner Caleb Stelzig would notch his seventh series win of the season after leading all twenty feature laps as second-starting Michael Fanelli would finish runner-up with fourth-starting JR Bonesteel placing a solid third. Robert Marfia would finish fourth with Craig Stringfellow rounding out the top-five finishers for the POWRi New Mexico Motor Racing Association running at Sandia Speedway on Saturday Night.
