Belleville, IL. (7/7/23) Venturing into new running grounds while also visiting familiar venues over the July 21-22 weekend will witness the POWRi National Midget League, running in conjunction with the Xtreme Outlaw Midgets Series, battling across the ‘Mighty Mississippi’ with stops at Doe Run Raceway on Friday followed by a league return to Southern Illinois Raceway on Saturday.
Debuting at Doe Run Raceway on Friday, July 21st will witness the side-by-side battles of the POWRi National Midget League running in conjunction with the Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series for the first time in the track’s history with additional classes competing including 600cc Outlaw Winged Micros, Mod-Lites, Restricted Winged Micros, as well as Non-Winged Restricted Micros for a full night of racing action.
Returning after a three-year hiatus, Saturday, July 22nd at Southern Illinois Raceway will feature the racing action of the POWRi National Midget League running in conjunction with the Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series as well as support classes including the Bailey Chassis Restricted Micros, Ike Dealership Jr Sprints, Prairie Farms Non-Wing Outlaws, and the Chemestream Race Fuels Mod-Lites.
