Belleville, IL. (6/28/23) Growing in anticipation encompassing the approaching weekend of open-wheel excitement, top drivers and teams from around the country will next see prospects of on-track action at Central Missouri and Lake Ozark Speedways.
Solidifying his standings amongst the top, the POWRi National Midget League points picture has witnessed Corbin Rueschenberg continually impress while leading both rookie of the year and national points entering the Missouri weekend.
Bringing a top-notch fleet of upper-echelon competitors, Keith Kunz Motorsports will see a full gauntlet of drivers entering including frontrunners Cooper Williams, Taylor Reimer, and Gavin Miller. Recent yearly national winner Karter Sarff and West winner Andrew Felker will set their respective sights on victory lanes once again with a pair of shots of winning in the Ozark region.
Earning a POWRi Illinois SPEEDWeek Championship last week and shooting up to second in points, Cannon McIntosh comes into the weekend with four wins on the season and red-hot having claimed three of the previous four POWRi National Midget League victories. Mentoring through the span of the season, Mac-Dalby Motorsports will also plan on bringing up-and-coming teammate talents Austin Barnhill as well as Brody Wake after an impressive SPEEDWeek debut.
Joining the mix of competitors slated to enter over the June 30 – July 1 weekend will also see a blend of traveling talents making the trek into the Show-Me-State including Team Ripper racer Brendon Wisely, resident wheelman extraordinaire Branigan Roark, current POWRi West Midget League points leader Michelle Decker, California contender Shannon McQueen, SPEEDWeek runner-up Chance Crum, three-time POWRi WAR champ Riley Kreisel, and many more.
As a bonus to all POWRi National and West Midget League members, the POWRi StockMod title sponsor Luebbering Oil Company will cover the cost of one pit pass for each driver on both Friday, June 30th, and Saturday, July 1st. Drivers will need to check in at the “Driver’s Window” at CMS and Lake Ozark to claim the free pit pass each night.

Debuting at the smooth surfaces of Central Missouri Speedway for a rare all-open-wheel evening of excitement, the POWRi National and West Midget Leagues will also be joined by the POWRi 305 Sprints Series as well as the POWRi Midwest Lightning Sprints on Saturday, June 30th.
Adding a festive shot of holiday exhilaration to the weekend, the leagues home facility of Lake Ozark Speedway will welcome the POWRi National and West Midgets on Saturday, July 1st in the Independence Day Celebration; POWRi-sanctioned classes to also compete will include the 410 Bandit Outlaw Sprint Series, Super Stock, Midwest Mod, and Hornet divisions.
