Belleville, IL. (6/24/2023) Returning to the familiar running grounds of sanctioned seasonal competition, the POWRi Illinois Midget Racing Association would witness Mark McMahill return to form and lead all laps around Spoon River Speedway to earn the feature win and his second victory in the 2023 racing season.
Starting the third night of POWRi sanctioning at Spoon River Speedway, the IMRA would find McMahill notch the heat racing win as well as gain the pole-starting grid for the fifteen-lap feature event.
Green flag feature racing would find Mark McMahill defending the front of the field for the duration of the feature laps with fourth-starting Tracy Hull earning a solid runner-up showing.
Staying contiguously close to the leaders, Rueben Haslett would finish third as Shane Morgan placed fourth with Russell Johnson rounding out the top five feature finishers for the POWRi Illinois Midget Racing Association at Spoon River Speedway.
