Belleville, IL. (2/27/23) As the 2023 racing season rapidly approaches, the POWRi National & West Midget Leagues competition rule book has been updated and will continue to require Hoosier Racing Tires.
POWRi National Midget League: Hoosier SP-3 will be the mandatory compound right rear tire. However, Hoosier Tire SP-2 will be allowed for use to phase out the teams remaining inventory throughout early season POWRi events; no SP-2 tires will be allowed to use after June 1st. POWRi and Xtreme events held in conjunction will be mandatory SP-3 right rear tire only.
POWRi West Midget League: Hoosier SP-3 will be the mandatory compound right rear tire. However, Hoosier Tire SP-2 will be allowed for use to phase out the teams remaining inventory throughout seasonal POWRi West stand-alone events; no SP-2 tires will be allowed to use for POWRi West events after October 1st.
Teams must utilize Hoosier Tires on all four corners. Left Front – D12 & D15. Right Front – D12, D15, & D20. Left Rear – D12 & D20. Right Rear – SP3 ONLY.
